For Diablo III, we expect to add the feature in a patch after 1.0.5. The “Appear Offline” status option will be added to World of Warcraft, StarCraft II, and Diablo III separately in future updates for each game. When you choose this option as your status, all of your Real ID friends, BattleTag friends, and character-level friends will see you as “Offline” in their friends list whenever you’re logged into a game.
Soon, World of Warcraft, StarCraft II, and Diablo III players will be able to select "Appear Offline" as one of their social-status options (along with Available, Busy, and Away) for those times when they want to wander Azeroth by their lonesome, dominate the galaxy in radio silence, or slay demons in solitude.

I'm just sick of there not being and offline mode. This "we can't do offline mode" is a falls under massive pile of bullshit. The only way things,* all things* get better is with criticism and calling on bullshit and having the receiver being able to process this and learn from it. I swear to god some people just seem to eat up any bullshit blizzard says. What ever happened to this? Did anything expand on this post? There could even possibly be a mini-thing where that when you select "Offline" as an option, it kind of "black-lists" your friends for as long as you have your status set to Offline. And yes, i can, but then i have to deal with the family members going "aI can't think of any reason why this feature is not implemented, the only issue i can see with it is if you were "offline" and somehow managed to get into the same game with them.īut that would have to be one hell of a coincidence (Similar level/rank, online at the same time, getting into the same lobby).Īnd even then, that's not Blizzards problem, that's ours. I know a lot of people will say "Why can't you just say No to them?". Or i just want to play the game without them realising im online because it just avoids any type of argument when they say "WHY DIDN'T YOU WANT TO PLAY WITH ME?"
I just want to sometimes play Overwatch on my own without having my partners cousins talk and want to group up.
